I believe that using a torch, these would be better, as you can get right to the material with the flame. To accomplish fast refining of your precipitates, you can use these, and the borax, and do a fine job. These cupels are much easier to heat, and hold the heat better, saving money on fuel and time. These when hot, can be picked up with a pair of channel lock pliers if need be.
