Rare and Unique Mayan Effigy Pottery, from the Collection of Barbara Gregory, origin Panama
This piece is a unique Effigy that i originally thought was of the Mayan Bird i had seen over the years, but after i aquired it and studied it closer, it appeares to be an effigy of an anteater i believe. The toes on it are destinctive, as is the amount of detail put into making this awesome piece of Mayan History.
This is a piece that George Gregory aquired on a dig in Panama many years ago, and i bought from Barbara Gregory a couple of years ago. I have forgotten some of the details she gave me about this piece, but keep tuned, because i still have her on my contact list, and i am going to speak with her and make sure i have all the facts correct on this piece.
The Spear in the pics is also a Mayan piece, it is a ceremonial spear i aquired from Mound City Relics, and if i recall correctly, it came from Peru, and i am working on getting a letter of authenitification for it too.
I will sell both pieces or either seperately, but this listing is only for the Effigy Pot. Buy it now, or make your best offer on this Awesome Relic, and i may also throw in a small celt that came from the same location. More info to come.
